McKenzie has expertise in complex commercial litigation and has acted in numerous multi million dollar disputes including under Australian Corporations and Securities legislation. McKenzie also works in resolving and advising on regulatory matters for private financial services and technology clients and represents international and Australian subsidiaries in relation to defending regulatory enforcement actions.
Recently McKenzie acted for Maxi EFX Global in $50m Federal Court proceedings brought by ASIC in relation to alleged breaches of the Corporations Act and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act in the conduct of Forex and CFD trading. McKenzie also acts on behalf of parties in arbitration proceedings and on international and domestic complex cross border disputes.
Having previously worked in China and Southeast Asia, McKenzie draws upon her international commercial experience to assist in the provision of commercial and corporate advice to both the firm’s national and international clients.
