Mark Emery is a Director in DQ’s Dispute Resolution department, and regularly appears at all levels of the Isle of Man High Court of Justice. Mark practices a wide range of commercial litigation, but has particular experience in fraud & asset tracing, commercial disputes, corporate insolvency, banking litigation, applications for injunctive relief, enforcing foreign judgments and advising on contentious issues of employment, data protection and trust law. Mark has been regularly ranked by the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, with Chambers & Partners UK 2020 commenting that “Mark’s strengths are his tenacity, boundless energy, pragmatism and can-do attitude.”

Mark is DQ’s Managing Director and has extensive experience in the Isle of Man in corporate and commercial law. He is consistently ranked as one of the top corporate and commercial lawyers on the Island. Mark heads DQ’s shipping team and specializes in ship financing matters, such as advice relating to senior secured ship mortgage loans, loan facilities, and re-financings. Mark’s other specialist areas of practice are banking, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.
Mark is a qualified Notary Public in the Isle of Man.
Donna is an associate director within DQ’s corporate and commercial department.
Donna advises a wide range of international and local institutional and individual clients in relation to the non-contentious commercial, shipping, and private client-related matters.
