As we begin a new year, we look forward to new collaborations and to seeing our community continue to grow stronger, more global, and increasingly active.
Our event in Mumbai last November with Dr. Shibani Belwalkar marked a major milestone for the network — including the transition from our Steering Committee to a new Management Board, expected to be established early this year, as well as the introduction of four dedicated portfolios: Membership, Strategy & Partnerships, Marketing & Communication, and Events & Learning. As part of IFG’s evolution and future growth strategy, we were delighted to introduce these portfolios, which will guide our work, strengthen our structure, and enhance collaboration across the network throughout the year.
Membership Portfolio
This portfolio will focus on attracting high-quality firms and strategically expanding IFG’s global presence. It will also foster meaningful engagement through collaborative initiatives and ensure high membership standards with ongoing evaluation of participation and contribution.
Marketing & Communications Portfolio
Dedicated to strengthening the IFG brand worldwide, this portfolio will ensure clear and consistent messaging across all platforms. It will promote pride and visibility within the community by showcasing member expertise, success stories, case studies and network updates.
Events & Learning Portfolio
This team will curate world-class conferences, workshops and knowledge forums that set global benchmarks. It will also develop relevant learning opportunities for members and facilitate meaningful networking that leads to real collaboration and opportunities.
Strategy & Partnerships Portfolio
Focused on the future, this portfolio will build strategic alliances with international associations, networks and institutions. It will also explore sponsorships and co-branding opportunities to increase visibility and help expand IFG’s influence across jurisdictions worldwide.
Thank you for your continued trust, energy and engagement.
I look forward to seeing many of you in our next meeting in London.
